Music in the streets, incredible crowds, great food and an atmosphere we’ll never forget, Fleadh Belfast 2026 was something special.
The Fleadh brought Belfast city centre to life, welcoming musicians, performers and visitors from across Ireland and further afield.
At The Chubby Cherub, we couldn’t resist getting involved in the celebrations!
Bringing a Little Taste of Italy to the Fleadh
While traditional music filled the streets of Belfast, we brought a little Italian flavour to the celebrations.
Our Chichester Street location was right in the heart of the action, making it the perfect spot for visitors to stop for food and drinks between performances and events.
And we took the Chubby Cherub atmosphere outside too.
Our Italian Terrace
One of our favourite parts of Fleadh week was seeing our Italian Terrace come to life.
With Belfast buzzing around us, guests could stop, grab something to eat or drink and soak up the festival atmosphere right in the city centre.
It was fantastic seeing so many familiar faces alongside visitors discovering The Chubby Cherub for the first time.
Grab, Go & Get Back to the Fleadh
There was so much happening across Belfast that nobody wanted to miss a minute.
Our Grab & Go options meant visitors could pick up something delicious before heading straight back out to explore the music, performances and entertainment happening around the city.
Good food + live music + Belfast in festival mode?

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is returning to Belfast in 2027, and we couldn’t be more excited.
We’re already looking forward to another week of music, food, drinks and an incredible Belfast atmosphere.
